Workplace Campaigns: Coming Together to Make a Difference

Oct 5, 2021 | Blog

Did you know that American’s spend one-third of their lives at work? * When so much of our time is spent with our coworkers, it is crucial to harvest these relationships and treasure their importance. At United Way of Broome County, we recognize the importance of employees at their organizations and the significance of employee engagement. Our Workplace Campaigns allow for just that!

What is a Workplace Campaign? Workplace Campaigns allow United Way of Broome County to work alongside local organizations and businesses to raise funds for our Annual Community Campaign, which allocates funds to local projects and programs that work towards the health, education, financial stability, and basic needs of those in our community.

Reasons to start a workplace campaign:
  • Donations can be made simple through payroll deductions.
  • All donations to United Way of Broome County are tax-deductible.
  • 100% of your gift will go directly to community projects and programs. There are never any administrative or processing fees.
  • Start a friendly competition between departments, and get creative! We encourage teams to think outside the box by starting fundraisers like dress-down days or bake sales. Fun new events like this allow for increased employee collaboration.
