The Full Plate Project

Full Plate = Full Potential

The mission of THE FULL PLATE PROJECT is to combat food insecurity by raising awareness and funds to support individuals and our community in need. We believe that everyone deserves access to nutritious food, and we are committed to fighting hunger by partnering with organizations, supporting initiatives, and raising awareness about the root causes of food insecurity. Through our collective efforts, we strive to create a Broome County where no one goes hungry, and everyone has a full plate.

Imagine having to worry about where your next meal will come from or not knowing if you’ll have enough to feed your children dinner. Unfortunately, that is the reality many of our friends and neighbors face every day. At United Way of Broome County, we are working with partners to implement solutions to help connect people experiencing food insecurity with the resources they need to thrive.

Through the annual THE FULL PLATE PROJECT initiative we have invested over $254,000 in the community through food insecurity programs, ensuring access to healthy foods and reducing hunger in our community.

Join Us – 100% of your contribution to this initiative will go to food insecurity programs.
