Calling all local non-profits! It’s that time of the year again! Join us for our third annual Partnering for a Purpose! This completely virtual event, held on November 9th and 10th, aims to provide meaningful resources in a fun and interactive environment.
What’s in store?
November 9th will kick off with keynote speaker Bill Clark, a motivational speaker, world champion and record holding powerlifter, multi Guinness Book of World Records title holder, international medalist in Olympic weightlifting, division one college strength trainer, college lecturer, and to top it all off, high school teacher!
The rest of the day is set to highlight all of our strategic priorities, including health, education, financial stability, and basic needs, with presentations by Rebecca Rathmell, Brenda Episcopo, and Dr. Denise Yull.
November 10th will feature areas of interest in the non-profit world, including marketing and program evaluation with Jocelyn Bailey and Kristina Lambright. United Way of Broome County will be giving organizational updates, including our new service, Galaxy Digital, a handy platform that connects eager volunteers to organizations in need of some extra help. Keep an eye out, Galaxy Digital will be launching soon!
The day will close out with a round table discussion on diversity, equity, and inclusion held by our very own Emerging Leader’s Society, featuring other young professionals in our community.
