It’s time for this year’s Day of Caring Drive! United Way of Broome County is seeking donations of new personal care items from now until the end of September. Items will be distributed to the following non-profit agencies in Broome County: Lee Barta Community Center, RISE, The Salvation Army, First Presbyterian Church of Johnson City, Volunteers of America, and YWCA.
Personal care items needed include:
- Body Wash
- Conditioner
- Cotton Balls/Pads
- Deodorant
- Disposable Razors
- Facial Tissues
- Feminine Hygiene Products
- Dental Floss
- Hand/Body Lotion
- Lip Balm
- Alcohol Free Mouthwash
- Nail Clippers
- Q-Tips
- Shampoo
- Shaving Cream
- Sunscreen
- Toothbrushes
- Toothpaste
- Gift cards that can be used to purchase such items are also accepted
Donations will be accepted at United Way of Broome County offices, located at 101 S. Jensen Road, Vestal, NY, 9am-4pm, Monday through Friday.
