Day of Action 2021: Our Community Coming Together

Jun 8, 2021 | Blog

After a long journey, we are hesitant yet hopeful that things are beginning to look up. As we look around, we see a community that never wavered to come together during times of need. A community that undoubtfully will continue to support one another.

Recognizing that many of our community members are looking to give back, United Way of Broome County will be hosting Day of Action on Friday, June 18, and Saturday, June 19. This day of service sets out to match eager volunteers with local organizations in need of additional help.

With 15+ volunteer projects, community members are sure to find an opportunity that interests them! Are you interested in outdoor work? The Roberson Museum, YMCA of Broome County, PAL Camp, and VINES may have some opportunities for you! Individuals, families, businesses, and friends are welcomed to band together to volunteer for Day of Action. Signing up is easier than ever! Head over to the Volunteer HQ to find and sign up for a volunteer project.
